After having played for 8 minutes, Brady Duhamel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macdiarmid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brady Duhamel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Brendan Heard notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Macdiarmid's Geoffroi Miller. Geoffroi Miller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximo Darby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Caisse in the 19th minute of play. Brady Duhamel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Caisse in the 26th minute of play forced Amazon's goalkeeper Maximo Darby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Amazon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Nadeau to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Darby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Caisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Macdiarmid's Brady Duhamel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Darby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Amazon's Maximo Darby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brady Duhamel in the 36th minute of play. Macdiarmid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Karl Gabriaux scored to the left of an out of position Geoffroi Miller, making the score, 2-1. Danny Grimes's late challenge caught a Amazon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Grimes helped the player get up and apologised. Danny Grimes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Karl Gabriaux struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Geoffroi Miller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amazon. Brendan Heard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Karl Gabriaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amazon's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Gabriaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geoffroi Miller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel Caisse was the one to do the kick off. Macdiarmid's Lionel Caisse got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Eric Nadeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Heard in the 81st minute of play forced Macdiarmid's goalkeeper Geoffroi Miller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Karl Gabriaux made a precise shot to the right of Geoffroi Miller. Macdiarmid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Maximo Darby was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lionel Caisse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 87 minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Brendan Heard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amazon.
