Saul Deschenes started the match with the kick off. Caleb Bird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alberto Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, FriBeRtz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Simard to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Saul Deschenes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Demers in the 17th minute of play forced Verwood's goalkeeper Billy Casgrain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Demers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Billy Casgrain having to make a save. In the 22nd match minute, Verwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darrell Connelly to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Verwood's Saul Deschenes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francesco Demers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Casgrain having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Benjamin Corbett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, FriBeRtz FC's Francesco Demers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billy Casgrain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, FriBeRtz FC's Billy Casgrain threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francesco Demers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th minute Lacy Ashby suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Eric Bonilla fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Verwood's protests and gave Eric Bonilla a yellow card for diving instead. FriBeRtz FC's Angel Collins was substituted for Lacy Ashby. A collision led to Verwood getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eric Bonilla hit a great ball. Billy Casgrain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Demers in the 42nd minute of play. Freddy Knox kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francesco Demers to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Brendan Emerson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FriBeRtz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verwood the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Brendan Emerson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Toby Jewell in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FriBeRtz FC's Angel Collins. Benjamin Corbett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caleb Bird came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Verwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caleb Bird couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Toby Jewell in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FriBeRtz FC's Angel Collins. In the 63rd minute, Freddy Knox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Collins kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Benjamin Corbett might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Casgrain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Corbett ran back to his position shaking his head. If Benjamin Corbett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
