After 10 played minutes Macdiarmid got a freekick which was hit by Willie Caouette. In the 12thth minute of the game Aurèle Driver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macdiarmid's Geoffroi Miller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Macdiarmid's Geoffroi Miller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentine Montano in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Scona FC's Aurèle Driver made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geoffroi Miller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentine Montano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The long shot by Florencio Berthiaume in the 35th minute really tested Rocky Flaherty's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aurèle Driver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blaine Tilley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brady Duhamel charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brady Duhamel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurèle Driver to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macdiarmid's goalkeeper Geoffroi Miller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geoffroi Miller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Beaulieu in the 54th minute of the match. Geoffroi Miller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentine Montano in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Otha Navarro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Macdiarmid getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Willie Caouette hit a great ball. Rocky Flaherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Duhamel in the 66th minute of the match. Scona FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Macdiarmid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mikel Conway took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mikel Conway got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geoffroi Miller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
