The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Branden Owen made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Normandeau's Morris Pendleton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Normandeau's Morris Pendleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branden Owen in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Joe Larivière cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Morris Pendleton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Théodore Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustache Massey in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Jean Reeves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracadie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Reeves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Normandeau's goal looked a bit too open when Branden Owen came free, but Morris Pendleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branden Owen made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Normandeau got a freekick which was hit by Evrard Trujillo. Branden Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Morris Pendleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Théodore Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustache Massey in the 63rd minute of play. Théodore Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustache Massey in the 92nd minute of play. Eustache Massey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tracadie FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
