Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Jamestown's Percy Hernandez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joe Larivières short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Marcel Mathews to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joe Larivière fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Mathews having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branden Owen in the 15th minute of play forced Jamestown's goalkeeper Marcel Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Jamestown's Randolph Cross nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Théodore Swenson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Percy Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Branden Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcel Mathews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Randolph Cross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Théodore Swenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eldridge Oliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Théodore Swenson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Percy Hernandez took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Théodore Swenson. Théodore Swenson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Branden Owen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branden Owen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Larivière in the 58th minute of play forced Jamestown's goalkeeper Marcel Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eldridge Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Théodore Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percy Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Foster Bass fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tracadie FC's protests and gave Foster Bass a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tracadie FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Foster Bass hit a great ball. Théodore Swenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jean Reeves fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tracadie FC's protests and gave Jean Reeves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tracadie FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jean Reeves hit a great ball. Courtney Guillory kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eldridge Oliver got free with Théodore Swenson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eldridge Oliver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Théodore Swenson came out and tried to block the shot, but Eldridge Oliver slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branden Owen in the 75th minute of play forced Jamestown's goalkeeper Marcel Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Mathews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Larivière, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Mathews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branden Owen in the 81st minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Tracadie FC's Joe Larivière sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Mathews narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Jamestown's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Larivière came free, but Marcel Mathews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eldridge Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Théodore Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jamestown had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
