Carmine Massé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Cochran, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curtis Cochran in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmine Massé prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curtis Cochran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Massé having to interfere. Curtis Cochran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guynemer's zone, Solomon Ricks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiley Littlejohn came out of the goal and Solomon Ricks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmine Massé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Cochran in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Norris Staton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guynemer the free kick. A collision led to Douro getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Norris Staton hit a great ball. Curtis Cochran struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Carmine Massé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guynemer. If Paschal Odell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Solomon Ricks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guynemer's Wiley Littlejohn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lamont Crandall's late challenge caught a Douro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lamont Crandall helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guynemer getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lamont Crandall hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norris Staton in the 40th minute of play forced Guynemer's goalkeeper Wiley Littlejohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Solomon Ricks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiley Littlejohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Guynemer's Curtis Cochran in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Douro's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the game, Paris Reed recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wiley Littlejohn. Paris Reed showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Paschal Odell sped through Douro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carmine Massé. Norris Staton hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Douro's Carmine Massé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Cochran in the 69th minute of play. When Norris Staton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Norris Staton hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Paschal Odell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guynemer's supporters rose to their feet, but Paschal Odell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Massé breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmine Massé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Cochran in the 83rd minute of play. Paschal Odell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Massé read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Guynemer's goalkeeper Wiley Littlejohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Solomon Ricks. When the referee ended the match the Guynemer players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
