Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Douro's Paris Reed started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Douro getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Norris Staton hit a great ball. Solomon Ricks in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Théodore Swenson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikel Bryan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tracadie FC booed when Douro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikel Bryan didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Tracadie FC's Jean Reeves in action when he in the 9th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Joe Larivière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tracadie FC's Joe Larivière in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Douro's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Douro's zone, Joe Larivière stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmine Massé came out of the goal and Joe Larivière tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Preston Inman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Théodore Swenson. Tracadie FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paris Reed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Tracadie FC's Branden Owen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmine Massé was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Paris Reed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tracadie FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Douro got a freekick which was hit by Paris Reed. In the 35th match minute, Douro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Hadley to maneuver through the defense. Tracadie FC's Branden Owen got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Tracadie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Reed came free, but Théodore Swenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Branden Owen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Joe Larivière dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carmine Massé, 0-2. Branden Owen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Foster Bass had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 57 minutes, Claude Sapp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douro and the Tracadie FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Douro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Sapp to maneuver through the defense. Paris Reed kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Lucio McCarty hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tracadie FC's Théodore Swenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Solomon Ricks in the 65th minute of play. Carmine Massé made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joe Larivière in the 76th minute. Joe Larivière in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carmine Massé, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joe Larivière received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carmine Massé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Larivière struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Carmine Massé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tracadie FC.
