In the 7th minute, Quincy Lehman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemptville AFC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Zehner AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gérald Soucy took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kemptville AFC's corner Gérald Soucy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylvain Hampton quite easily take care of the ball. If Waylon Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Theo Carignan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith McCullough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kemptville AFC's Theo Carignan got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylvain Hampton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Bergeron in the 31st minute of the match. Zehner AFC's Sylvain Hampton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Zehner AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Kemptville AFC's zone, Keith McCullough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Boyer came out of the goal and Keith McCullough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keith McCullough made a kick off. Willis Donovan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Diego Boyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keith McCullough's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Roscoe Bergeron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemptville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roscoe Bergeron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Carignan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sylvain Hampton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zehner AFC's Sylvain Hampton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roscoe Bergeron in the 73rd minute of play. If Roscoe Bergeron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waylon Swanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Waylon Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zehner AFC's goalkeeper Sylvain Hampton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kemptville AFC booed when Zehner AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith McCullough didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Theo Carignan came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Kemptville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Carignan couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
