The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Terrebonne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Dube came free, but Lou Guilmette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmine Fink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Boniface Stewart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Terrebonne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Dube came free, but Lou Guilmette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Guérette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Fink, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Gregory Lapresse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Burnham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mitch Guérette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Terrebonne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boniface Stewart came free, but Lou Guilmette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lou Guilmette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Dube, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riley Dube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Guilmette having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Terrebonne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalton Grandbois to maneuver through the defense. Boniface Stewart struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Lou Guilmette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madoc. After the first half Madoc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Riley Dube made the kick off in the second half. Samuel Burnham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Boniface Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Boniface Stewart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lou Guilmette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terrebonne FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Riley Dube 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Boniface Stewart's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Lou Guilmette skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Terrebonne FC's Gregory Lapresse got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lou Guilmette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Dube in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Kris Sheets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Madoc's Riley Dube ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lou Guilmette. Lou Guilmette yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Burnham in the 89th minute of play forced Madoc's goalkeeper Mitch Guérette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Guérette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Fink's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When Gregory Lapresse came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Terrebonne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Lapresse couldn't finish the play. The Terrebonne FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Madoc's performance. The match ended with a win for Madoc.
