Herb Ricard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Dube, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Riley Dube made the kick off in the second half. Elvin Couturier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Stein in the 63rd minute of play forced Madoc's goalkeeper Mitch Guérette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Madoc's goal looked a bit too open when Elvin Couturier came free, but Mitch Guérette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gooderham booed when Madoc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sheldon Charpie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a long run with the ball, Clinton Lester did a trick in the 83rd minute in front of Madoc's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-2.
