After a rather tough play, May Two-Four's Byron Squires got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Myron Ruel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berthierville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave May Two-Four the free kick. With a little luck, Berthierville AFC's Dee Elliot got control of the ball when Kay Hörster tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Littlejohn scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dee Elliot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myron Ruel in the 12th minute of play forced May Two-Four's goalkeeper Gaylord Turcotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes May Two-Four got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Randall. In the 24th minute Burl Fournier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaylord Turcotte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Berthierville AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Renaldo Souplet hit a great ball. Kay Hörster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dee Elliot having to interfere. Benjamin Littlejohn struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Dee Elliot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for May Two-Four. May Two-Four's Kay Hörster got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dee Elliot made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Kay Hörster sent off a good shot on target. Gaylord Turcotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burl Fournier in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Capps in the 45th minute of play forced May Two-Four's goalkeeper Gaylord Turcotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Burl Fournier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaylord Turcotte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 56 played minutes Berthierville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Renaldo Souplet. Kay Hörster took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dee Elliot. Dee Elliot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Renaldo Souplet's late challenge caught a May Two-Four's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renaldo Souplet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Berthierville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Souplet to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Berthierville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Littlejohn came free, but Dee Elliot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. May Two-Four's Kay Hörster got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Benjamin Littlejohn made a precise shot to the right of Dee Elliot. Berthierville AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Dee Elliot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Littlejohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kay Hörster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berthierville AFC's goalkeeper Dee Elliot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, Berthierville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Souplet to maneuver through the defense. When May Two-Four's Kay Hörster in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berthierville AFC's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Berthierville AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for May Two-Four.
