In the 2nd minute, Gino Shea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theirn Houser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivugivik's Ivan Norbert got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ivugivik's Jamey Martinez got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ivan Norbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hoyt Helms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moshe Swenson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ivugivik getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Moshe Swenson hit a great ball. The supporters of Cupar booed when Ivugivik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo McFadden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Bouchard struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Chase Rowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cupar. 26 minutes into the match, Cupar's Eddy Hough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chase Rowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Goulet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chase Rowe having to interfere. Chase Rowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Hough in the 29th minute of play. Ivugivik's Chase Rowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Hough in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theirn Houser during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theirn Houser hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gino Shea hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Felix Goulet came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chase Rowe could save by the left post. In the 58th minute Cupar were awarded a corner. Christophe Saldana went to the cornerflag to take it. Christophe Saldana made a great header on Cupar's corner, it was just that Ivugivik's Chase Rowe managed to reach the ball for a save. Hoyt Helms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theirn Houser's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Felix Goulet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ivugivik booed when Cupar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Goulet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Theirn Houser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theirn Houser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoyt Helms having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ivan Norbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivugivik's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Norbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hoyt Helms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Goulet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chase Rowe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hoyt Helms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Norbert in the 91st minute of the match. Hassan Quinones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 97 in the game by Felix Goulet from a close distance when the talented Chase Rowe managed to make a qualified save. Ivugivik's players were relieved. Ivugivik's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
