The supporters of Collins booed when Berthierville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederic Capps didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Rhett Egan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Rhett Egan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berthierville AFC's Dee Elliot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhett Egan in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berthierville AFC's goalkeeper Dee Elliot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burl Fournier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Berthierville AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Collins's Arron Jarvis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Dee Elliot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodème Boyle in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Burl Fournier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orlando Davis. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Frederic Capps kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes, Collins's Rémi Odell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dee Elliot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Collins reached it. In the 42nd minute, Nicodème Boyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Berthierville AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Frederic Capps hit a great ball. Collins's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Burl Fournier scored to the left of an out of position Orlando Davis, making the score, 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burl Fournier to strike the kick off in the second half. Rhett Egan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dee Elliot having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Berthierville AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rhett Egan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Myron Ruel in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Davis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Burl Fournier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Davis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myron Ruel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burl Fournier, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, Berthierville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Souplet to maneuver through the defense. Collins's Nicodème Boyle came free and shot a quick shot against goal 86 minutes in the game, fortunately Dee Elliot had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Burl Fournier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Davis having to interfere. Burl Fournier struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Orlando Davis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berthierville AFC.
