Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Neal Sauriol started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Neal Sauriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neal Sauriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th match minute, Belleville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonah Goudreau to maneuver through the defense. Ian Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erin Goodrich in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wellington's Erin Goodrich got a free kick in the 12th minute. Pierre Beatty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 16 minutes, Bryan Espinosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belleville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Espinosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre Beatty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Cesar Sharpe made a huge save. After having played for 22 minutes, Neal Sauriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neal Sauriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre Beatty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cesar Sharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Deblois in the 28th minute of the match. Bryan Espinosa let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 30th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Ian Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neal Sauriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Deblois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ian Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierre Beatty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ian Santana managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Wellington's Neal Sauriol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, Wellington's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Beatty came free, but Cesar Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Wellington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lindsay Massey to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes, Belleville's Lemuel Naquin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesar Sharpe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belleville reached it. In the 66th minute, Lindsay Massey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neal Sauriol in the 68th minute of play forced Belleville's goalkeeper Ian Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erin Goodrich kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Belleville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Manuel Deblois scored to the left of an out of position Ian Santana, making the score, 1-1. Ian Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Deblois in the 84th minute. When Wellington's Neal Sauriol in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belleville's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute Bryan Espinosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Sharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
