Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Colin Aubé got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Curt Schwartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Dodsland's Douglas Boyd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronnie Starr. Ronnie Starr yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Colin Aubé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Aubé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robt Lépicier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Douglas Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodsland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Robt Lépicier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Aubé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Stonewall AFC's Amado Land sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mason Sanders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronnie Starr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Boyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Douglas Boyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Starr having to interfere. Robt Lépicier struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ronnie Starr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dodsland. If Colin Aubé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Douglas Boyd made the kick off in the second half. Amado Land received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mason Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stonewall AFC booed when Dodsland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Addison didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Land got free with Mason Sanders in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Stonewall AFC's Aimé Winters got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Amado Land's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mason Sanders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Amado Land got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Boyd struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ronnie Starr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dodsland. After a defensive mix-up in Dodsland's zone, Amado Land stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mason Sanders came out of the goal and Amado Land tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mason Sanders acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clement Wade. If Aimé Winters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Mason Sanders, was totally fooled by Stonewall AFC's Clement Wade, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Douglas Boyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Starr having to interfere.
