Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Perceval Hodges made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Therien's Tommy Carter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Starr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kelly Landis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Land, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Aubé in the 10th minute of play forced Therien's goalkeeper Kelly Landis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Carter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Starr having to interfere. Kelly Landis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Aubé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Colin Aubé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match Nickolas Alford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kelly Landis skillfully saved the ball. Bertram LondeLalonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Starr having to interfere. Amado Land struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kelly Landis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stonewall AFC. Colin Aubé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kelly Landis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Land took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kelly Landis. Kelly Landis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colin Aubé to make the kick off. The supporters of Therien booed when Stonewall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galen Maddox didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Stonewall AFC defense, Perceval Hodges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronnie Starr. The Stonewall AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Starr should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Perceval Hodges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Starr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Carter struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ronnie Starr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Therien. Tommy Carter took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronnie Starr. Ronnie Starr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Therien booed when Stonewall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clement Wade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Starr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Sapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, Therien's Perceval Hodges made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Starr was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kelly Landis was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Colin Aubé capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Colin Aubé really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. After 98 played minutes Therien got a freekick which was hit by Modestine Riley. After 101 minutes Therien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clement Wade who took care of the corner kick. Clement Wade made a great header on Stonewall AFC's corner, it was just that Therien's Kelly Landis managed to reach the ball for a save. Stonewall AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
