The audience was convinced that Ron Lofton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Manuel was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Benny Guilmette kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dubois's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlie Caya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Manuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
