Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Therien's Perceval Hodges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Therien's Perceval Hodges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominique Vickers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tommy Carter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Therien's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Carter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominique Vickers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 8 in the game by Perceval Hodges from a close distance when the talented Dominique Vickers managed to make a qualified save. Oxford FC's players were relieved. After 9 minutes, Wilburn Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Therien and the Oxford FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kelly Landis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Séguin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Kelly Landis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillaume Séguin went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anthony Ball charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Ball the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anthony Ball hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kelly Landis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apollinaire Judd in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Modestine Riley could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Dominique Vickers however easily saved by the left post. In the 29th minute Perceval Hodges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominique Vickers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oxford FC's Apollinaire Judd in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Therien's goalie prevented a goal. If Guillaume Séguin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apollinaire Judd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Oxford FC's Vito Duclos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Tommy Carter struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dominique Vickers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Therien. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apollinaire Judd was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Therien's Wilburn Romero got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Perceval Hodges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique Vickers came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Therien's Tommy Carter. But to his dismay, Tommy Carter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Wilburn Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Carter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dominique Vickers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominique Vickers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perceval Hodges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perceval Hodges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Vickers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perceval Hodges in the 82nd minute of play. When Apollinaire Judd came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Oxford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apollinaire Judd couldn't finish the play. Guillaume Séguin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apollinaire Judd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Kelly Landis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oxford FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
