With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruce McGraw in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Cooke saved NİNNAS from getting behind. Ben Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Prince in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Bruce McGraw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NİNNAS's Ben Cooke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ben Cooke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Prince, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rory Stratton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Bruce McGraw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Marcel Prince managed to get in a good position for a shot. Widewater's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Prince was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Cooke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcel Prince sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NİNNAS's Ben Cooke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce McGraw in the 67th minute of play. With his leg Ben Cooke managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Widewater's Marcel Prince fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcel Prince struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ben Cooke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Widewater. 78 minutes into the match, Widewater's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Marcus came free, but Paul Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
