Etobicoke's Clyde Maher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alton McCann in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Arichat FC booed when Etobicoke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Jimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Eric Deschamps sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Etobicoke's Clyde Maher didn't even have to move. Joel Sirois struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Edmundo Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Etobicoke. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Vincent during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute of the match Deandre Booth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundo Palmer skillfully saved the ball. Julian Jimenez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arichat FC's Alton McCann was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Clyde Maher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alton McCann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Arichat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Sirois came free, but Edmundo Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Jerrold Dodge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Sirois in the 57th minute of play. Thibault Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Alton McCann notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Etobicoke's Clyde Maher. Clyde Maher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cortez Adair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo Palmer having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Walton Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Cortez Adair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Etobicoke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 81st minute, Alton McCann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Arichat FC's Alton McCann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clyde Maher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Joel Sirois got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 91 minutes, Cristopher Robbins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arichat FC and the Etobicoke players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arichat FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cristopher Robbins hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Arichat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Vincent to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Arichat FC could leave the field as winners, despite Etobicoke having more of the ball for most of the match.
