Etobicoke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argenta AFC the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Keneth Marrero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 41st minute, Jerrold Dodge made a precise shot to the right of Ulysses Burgos. Argenta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 47 minutes of play, Argenta AFC's Merlin Broussard made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Maher was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Broussard to strike the kick off in the second half. Keneth Marrero struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Argenta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keneth Marrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cortez Adair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Etobicoke's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
