Clark Ruffin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keneth Marrero in the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Carlos Pariseau from a close distance when the talented Ulysses Burgos managed to make a qualified save. Argenta AFC's players were relieved. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argenta AFC's goalkeeper Ulysses Burgos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Keneth Marrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merlin Broussard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Ruffin having to interfere. If Gilbert Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Paddockwood AFC's Ulysses Burgos threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gautier Dodd, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merlin Broussard was the one to do the kick off. Paddockwood AFC's Clark Ruffin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Paddockwood AFC from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes Paddockwood AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boris Burris who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Boris Burris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clark Ruffin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 57th minute Carlos Pariseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Burgos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paddockwood AFC's Jerry Prather got a free kick in the 60th minute. Keneth Marrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clark Ruffin having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Keneth Marrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clark Ruffin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Pariseau in the 74th minute of play forced Argenta AFC's goalkeeper Ulysses Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Argenta AFC booed when Paddockwood AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Munoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argenta AFC's Merlin Broussard got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gautier Dodd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Carlos Pariseau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gautier Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Merlin Broussard came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Argenta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merlin Broussard couldn't finish the play. If Keneth Marrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Argenta AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
