Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shawn Stout kicked off to start the match. Dee Kerr kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Shawn Stout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kraig Chartré saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leroy Singh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Singh in the 19th minute of play forced Hecate FC's goalkeeper Vern Smiley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Shawn Stout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Thetford AFC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Thetford AFC's Jermaine McAllister looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Shawn Stout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Shawn Stout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thetford AFC's Kraig Chartré was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kraig Chartré made an important save on a dangerous shot by Désiré Rowland in the 40th minute. Désiré Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kraig Chartré having to interfere. Leroy Singh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vern Smiley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leroy Singh to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Shawn Stout notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Thetford AFC's Kraig Chartré. Kraig Chartré was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Hecate FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Philibert Trotter hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, Leroy Singh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thetford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hecate FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Thetford AFC's Leroy Singh got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Leroy Singh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Leroy Singh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vern Smiley having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shawn Stout in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kraig Chartré saved Thetford AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Thetford AFC's zone, Désiré Rowland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kraig Chartré came out of the goal and Désiré Rowland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Désiré Rowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kraig Chartré having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
