The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Valère Auclair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute Rodrigo Duffet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Columbus Canales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Nobleford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Huot. In the 14th minute of the match Cornelius Guy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efren Galloway showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tracy Isaac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Nobleford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valère Auclair came free, but Efren Galloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Quetico booed when Nobleford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaughn Feldman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Nobleford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valère Auclair came free, but Efren Galloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Huot kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Columbus Canales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Duffet, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Quetico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reuben Connelly to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Quetico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelius Guy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Quetico's zone, Rodrigo Duffet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Columbus Canales came out of the goal and Rodrigo Duffet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaughn Feldman charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaughn Feldman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A hard shot 58 in the game by Maynard Boudreaux from a close distance when the talented Efren Galloway managed to make a qualified save. Nobleford AFC's players were relieved. Tracy Isaac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Columbus Canales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Quetico's Dion Terry seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dion Terry the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quetico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dion Terry had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quetico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nobleford AFC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bradford Cartier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quetico's Columbus Canales. 1-0. If Tracy Isaac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Rodrigo Duffet made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Quetico's Columbus Canales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nobleford AFC's Tracy Isaac got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Rodrigo Duffet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Columbus Canales was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Martin Huot hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nobleford AFC's zone, Maynard Boudreaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efren Galloway came out of the goal and Maynard Boudreaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Maynard Boudreaux came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Quetico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maynard Boudreaux couldn't finish the play. Tracy Isaac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Columbus Canales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Rodrigo Duffet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Columbus Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nobleford AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quetico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
