Matthew Stein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Roth in the 69th minute of play forced Inazuma Eleven's goalkeeper Matthew Stein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inazuma Eleven's Matthew Stein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Guthrie in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Oakville Oaks's goal looked a bit too open when Léonce Castle came free, but Jean Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
