Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lonny Caron got the match started through his kick off. Lambert Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Toney Holden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lonny Caron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toney Holden having to interfere. Lambert Chavez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Toney Holden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Lambert Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Lambert Chavez in the 17thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Toney Holden had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Debden FC's Stevie Hope in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Toney Holden guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Lonny Caron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Toney Holden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lambert Chavez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Toney Holden made a huge save. In the 29thth minute of the game Lonny Caron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hootalinqua's Toney Holden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Debden FC's goalkeeper Laurent Lentz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Judson Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Lentz having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Grignon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stevie Hope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Toney Holden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurent Lentz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Grignon in the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hootalinqua's Roland Grignon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laurent Lentz. That made the score 0-1 after 57 minutes of play. 60 minutes into the match, Roland Grignon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurent Lentz. Debden FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Grignon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hootalinqua's Toney Holden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonny Caron in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Lambert Chavez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toney Holden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Stevie Hope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Roland Grignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Lentz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Debden FC's zone, Judson Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurent Lentz came out of the goal and Judson Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Hootalinqua's goal looked a bit too open when Lonny Caron came free, but Toney Holden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Debden FC's Lambert Chavez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Roland Grignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
