Spectators: 5003 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1003, VIP seats: 0) Wabowden's Hubert Strickland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Strickland in the 4th minute of play forced Oakville Oaks's goalkeeper Jean Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wabowden's Orval Pariseau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Wabowden from getting a goal against them. Jean Gallegos came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Wabowden's Rodrigo Ybarra. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ybarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Oakville Oaks's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Bernier came free, but Jean Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Roth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Orval Pariseau made a huge save. In the 15th minute Bruce Guthrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orval Pariseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Wabowden's Eddy McRae got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bernard Roth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orval Pariseau, 1-1. Orval Pariseau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Roth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Gallegos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Strickland, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Wabowden. Erik Bussière stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jean Gallegos. 1-2. In the 34th minute Hubert Strickland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Gallegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitch Bernier kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wabowden's zone, Bernard Roth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orval Pariseau came out of the goal and Bernard Roth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Bernard Roth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orval Pariseau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Wabowden's zone, Bill McLain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orval Pariseau came out of the goal and Bill McLain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Clark McCracken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orval Pariseau. That made the score 2-2 in the 41 minute of play. Oakville Oaks's Clark McCracken got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Wabowden getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mitch Bernier hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Bernard Roth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakville Oaks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 61stth minute of the game Clark McCracken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wabowden's Orval Pariseau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Wabowden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wally Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Clark McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bill McLain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orval Pariseau having to interfere. Orval Pariseau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill McLain, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Orval Pariseau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clark McCracken's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Mitch Bernier kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Orval Pariseau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Roth in the 77th minute of the match. Orval Pariseau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill McLain in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wabowden defense, Clark McCracken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orval Pariseau. The Wabowden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orval Pariseau should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Wabowden's goal looked a bit too open when Clark McCracken came free, but Orval Pariseau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Oakville Oaks's Bill McLain in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wabowden's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th play minute Rodrigo Ybarra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jean Gallegos. 4-3. With a little luck, Oakville Oaks's Jean Gallegos got control of the ball when Rodrigo Ybarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Oakville Oaks getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bill McLain hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oakville Oaks fully deserved thier win.
