Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuel Whitney took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jacinto Meunier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Dong Cornell made a huge save. The supporters of Cloverdale booed when Bend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manual Daniels didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Bend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Kenney to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bend's zone, Jacinto Meunier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dong Cornell came out of the goal and Jacinto Meunier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Whitney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Kenney in the 18th minute of play forced Cloverdale's goalkeeper Derick Loiseau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leland Storey kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dong Cornell made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jacinto Meunier sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Bend's goalkeeper Dong Cornell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Meunier. Norris Stark charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norris Stark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Bend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norris Stark to maneuver through the defense. Dong Cornell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Whitney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perceval Dean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Derick Loiseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cloverdale's Derick Loiseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perceval Dean in the 42nd minute of play. Derick Loiseau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Kenney in the 43rd minute of the match. Derick Loiseau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perceval Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With a little luck, Bend's Dong Cornell got control of the ball when Jacinto Meunier tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Perceval Dean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Meunier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dong Cornell came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloverdale's Jacinto Meunier. But to his dismay, Jacinto Meunier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Samuel Whitney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Samuel Whitney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloverdale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 81st minute, Jacinto Meunier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Whitney struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dong Cornell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloverdale. Jacinto Meunier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dong Cornell having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bend's Derick Loiseau threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lawrence Kenney, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
