When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Frédéric Manning sped through Cloverdale's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Derick Loiseau. After 18 played minutes Cloverdale got a freekick which was hit by Vaughn Salinas. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Samuel Whitney took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jerry Barron to make any attempt to save it. When Bladworth FC's Martin Zuniga in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cloverdale's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Meunier got free with Jerry Barron in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute of the match, Samuel Whitney tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerry Barron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emmitt Bowen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Joshua Reed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Silas Ledbetter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frédéric Manning came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Bladworth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédéric Manning couldn't finish the play. Martin Zuniga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Derick Loiseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Ledbetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Danilo Croteau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Whitney was the one to do the kick off. Silas Ledbetter in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Joshua Reed blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerry Barron having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Bladworth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Whitney came free, but Jerry Barron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Ledbetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Derick Loiseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Meunier during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bladworth FC made a substitution. Cloverdale's Derick Loiseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédéric Manning in the 84th minute of play. Cloverdale's Derick Loiseau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Cloverdale from getting a goal against them. Cloverdale's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Silas Ledbetter scored to the left of an out of position Derick Loiseau, making the score, 1-4. Martin Zuniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bladworth FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
