Jamey Denny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wallace Gendron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Wallace Gendron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamey Denny, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Auteuil AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lasqueti:s goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Auteuil AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
