The supporters of Lasqueti booed when Chesterfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Travis Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Patrick Garnier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marshall Dupree was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Patrick Garnier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marshall Dupree. Lasqueti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Garnier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Patrick Garnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Garnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marshall Dupree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Lasqueti got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Pelletier. Palmer Binghams short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Marshall Dupree to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marshall Dupree made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Palmer Bingham sent off a good shot on target. Marshall Dupree made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Garnier in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes, Terrence Pelchat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chesterfield AFC and the Lasqueti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Terrence Pelchat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mel Lejeune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Pelletier in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Travis Cabrera in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marshall Dupree prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, Willis Meier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lasqueti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chesterfield AFC the free kick. The supporters of Chesterfield AFC booed when Lasqueti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willis Meier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lasqueti's Marshall Dupree couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Loic Bizier shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 36th minute, 2-0. When Everette Goodson came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Lasqueti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everette Goodson couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Chesterfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Everette Goodson came free, but Mel Lejeune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mel Lejeune came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lasqueti's Everette Goodson. But to his dismay, Everette Goodson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lasqueti's Darryl Pelletier got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Garnier was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lasqueti's Darryl Pelletier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mel Lejeune narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chris Simms hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mel Lejeune made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Everette Goodson sent off a good shot on target. Marshall Dupree showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palmer Bingham in the 77th minute of the match. When Erin Talbot fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lasqueti's protests and gave Erin Talbot a yellow card for diving instead. If Patrick Garnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Garnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshall Dupree having to interfere. Everette Goodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Lejeune having to interfere. Mel Lejeune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Pelletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chesterfield AFC's Mel Lejeune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Pelletier in the 92nd minute of play. Darryl Pelletier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Mel Lejeune 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lasqueti had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
