Robert Bélair showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedict Cunningham in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Yarbrough got free with Robert Bélair in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedict Cunningham kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Bélair. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Benedict Cunningham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bélair having to interfere. Patrick Yarbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Robert Bélair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Yarbrough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bélair having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedict Cunningham in the 30th minute of play forced Lodge's goalkeeper Robert Bélair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Patrick Yarbrough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Yarbrough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Bélair breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Patrick Yarbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Bélair took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Cunningham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Bélair made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Patrick Yarbrough sent off a good shot on target. Benedict Cunningham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bélair having to interfere. Waldo Paquette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 45 played minutes Colborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Rector. Isidore Kearney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Finley having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Zachary Blackmon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colborne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lodge the free kick. Zachary Blackmon hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute Isidore Kearney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Finley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidore Kearney was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Benedict Cunningham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bélair saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedict Cunningham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Lodge getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Séverin Lin hit a great ball. Elias Finley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidore Kearney's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Octavio Courcelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Robert Bélair was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elias Finley didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Benedict Cunningham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Yarbrough might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Bélair. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Yarbrough ran back to his position shaking his head. Richie Means was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, one of Lodge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Colborne FC a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lindsey Werner, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lodge's Robert Bélair. 4-1.
