A collision led to Lasqueti getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Willis Meier hit a great ball. Ollie McGowan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marshall Dupree had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Donny Fitzpatrick from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 31 played minutes Kipawa got a freekick which was hit by Major Tuttle. In the 32nd minute Darryl Pelletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Lasqueti's goalkeeper Marshall Dupree had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ollie McGowan. René Peck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everette Goodson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donny Fitzpatrick made a kick off. Kipawa's René Peck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Pelletier in the 51st minute of play.
