Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Garnier started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Feng Sang Bing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orval Rubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Travis Cabrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chesterfield AFC booed when Victoria Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Baron didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terrence Pelchat got free with Orval Rubin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mel Lejeune didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Victoria Wolves's Liu Zheng shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Liu Zheng scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mel Lejeune, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loic Bizier's late challenge caught a Victoria Wolves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loic Bizier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Chesterfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loic Bizier to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Liu Zheng put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mel Lejeune. In the 32nd minute, Liu Zheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Chesterfield AFC's Palmer Bingham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orval Rubin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 46th minute, Antione Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 minutes of play, Victoria Wolves's Rene Roach made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mel Lejeune was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Liu Zheng made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Victoria Wolves's Rene Roach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mel Lejeune narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Liu Zheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Roach might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mel Lejeune. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Roach ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, Chesterfield AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rene Roach fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Patrick Garnier took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orval Rubin. Orval Rubin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The audience was convinced that Liu Zheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mel Lejeune was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The supporters of Victoria Wolves booed when Chesterfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antione Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Quinton Hinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Victoria Wolves's Warner Grier got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feng Sang Bing got free with Mel Lejeune in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feng Sang Bing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mel Lejeune read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Victoria Wolves's Bobbie Dobson was substituted for Ludovic Pavot. With a little luck, Chesterfield AFC's Mel Lejeune got control of the ball when Rene Roach tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Zheng in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mel Lejeune saved Chesterfield AFC from getting behind. Feng Sang Bing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Lejeune having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Liu Zheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chesterfield AFC's Mel Lejeune was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Rene Roach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mel Lejeune. Chesterfield AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Roach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Victoria Wolves's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
