The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damien Béland couldn't finish the play. In the 5th match minute, Redvers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deangelo Lloyd to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Antonio Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrew Huppé, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Charlie Croft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Murray Li tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cloridorme's Mario Gunn got a free kick in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Cloridorme's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Baker came free, but Buddy Peachey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Andrew Huppé was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cloridorme's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redvers FC the free kick. Andrew Huppé hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Buddy Peachey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Damien Béland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloridorme fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eliseo Baker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buddy Peachey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Buddy Peachey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Baker in the 40th minute of play. Eliseo Baker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Peachey having to interfere. Murray Li took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Béland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Baker to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Eliseo Baker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buddy Peachey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cloridorme's Buddy Peachey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Baker in the 59th minute of play. Cloridorme's Buddy Peachey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Cloridorme from getting a goal against them. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cloridorme! The supporters of Redvers FC booed when Cloridorme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Nixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Damien Béland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Croft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murray Li having to interfere. Charlie Croft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Redvers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murray Li should have stopped the shot.
