Kipawa were furious when Roosevelt Laux was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Marshall Santana placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of Kipawa booed when Lodge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Deslauriers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ollie McGowan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bélair having to interfere. If Isidore Kearney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldo Paquette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Peck having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ollie McGowan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kipawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie McGowan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Bélair breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Isidore Kearney made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Kipawa defense, Isidore Kearney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Peck. The Kipawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Peck should have stopped the shot. Kipawa's René Peck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidore Kearney in the 55th minute of play. René Peck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Paquette, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ollie McGowan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Bélair having to interfere. The Lodge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. René Peck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidore Kearney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lodge were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kipawa for a fine match.
