Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Branden Hood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Shelton Ménard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Shawenegan FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Chadwick. After a defensive mix-up in Shawenegan FC's zone, Felicien Esquivel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shelton Ménard came out of the goal and Felicien Esquivel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Branden Hood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooks AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Branden Hood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Branden Hood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Stanton Loiseau in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jan Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Brooks AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Sanford Gauthier scored to the left of an out of position Alphonso Milligan, making the score, 1-0. Shelton Ménard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branden Hood in the 35th minute of play. Alphonso Milligan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sanford Gauthier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felicien Esquivel in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shelton Ménard saved Shawenegan FC from getting behind. Shawn Ruel charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shawn Ruel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Shawenegan FC's Shawn Ruel got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felicien Esquivel in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shelton Ménard saved Shawenegan FC from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sanford Gauthier to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Brooks AFC's Gustavo Farrell got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Porter McCord, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gustavo Farrell charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Farrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Brooks AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Farrell. In the 68th minute of the match Porter McCord shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alphonso Milligan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sanford Gauthier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonso Milligan having to interfere. Alphonso Milligan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanton Loiseau in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Shawenegan FC's Shawn Ruel got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Shawenegan FC's Sanford Gauthier made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alphonso Milligan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 85 minutes, Stanton Loiseau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shawenegan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanton Loiseau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shelton Ménard made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Branden Hood sent off a good shot on target. Shelton Ménard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felicien Esquivel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shawenegan FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brooks AFC for a fine match.
