In the 16th minute, Dupuy's Craig Pittman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boyd Thorne. Boyd Thorne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Royer. In the 25th minute Robbie Buckley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Létourneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Premier FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Lucio Gibbs scored to the left of an out of position Boyd Thorne, making the score, 3-0. Premier FC's Boyd Thorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklyn Meunier in the 36th minute of play. Xavier Ellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tuan Létourneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Carmelo Royer hit a great ball. Boyd Thorne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Brandon Daugherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Thorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Daugherty in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyd Thorne saved Premier FC from getting behind. The Dupuy fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Dupuy's Franklyn Meunier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Basil Farr hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dupuy fully deserved thier win.
