Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nathanial Auger took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yong Fairchild got free with Mitchel Whitten in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Presley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mitchel Whitten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Chris Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitchel Whitten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mossbank! Edmund Crawford kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mossbank defense, Yong Fairchild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitchel Whitten. The Mossbank fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitchel Whitten should have stopped the shot. Perdue's Boyd McCracken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathanial Auger in the 20th minute of play. Chris Presley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mitchel Whitten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Todd charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Todd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Perdue getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Efrain Todd hit a great ball. Boyd McCracken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Parsons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathanial Auger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Boyd McCracken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Perdue's Valéry Willingham got a free kick in the 37th minute. Boyd McCracken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathanial Auger in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yong Fairchild got free with Mitchel Whitten in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Crawford kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Presley to strike the kick off in the second half. Yong Fairchild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Presley got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mitchel Whitten handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Edmund Crawford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mossbank and the Perdue players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mossbank getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edmund Crawford hit a great ball. The supporters of Perdue booed when Mossbank was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Crawford didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Chris Presley in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 69th minute, Tommie Bragg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yong Fairchild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chris Presley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 76 in the game by Tom Parsons from a close distance when the talented Boyd McCracken managed to make a qualified save. Perdue's players were relieved. After 76 minutes, Tom Parsons made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Perdue's Boyd McCracken tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Perdue got a freekick which was hit by Émile Santiago. 83 minutes into the game, Mossbank's Tom Parsons nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyd McCracken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 91st minute, Carol Chauvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Parsons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mossbank's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
