The supporters of Tangent booed when Silcox FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connie Gentry didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marty Chalifour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charles Page hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Tangent's Ollie Émond in action when he in the 55th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Kasey Washburn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Guidry in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grady Guertin during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
