In the 10th minute, Edmund Crawford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Parsons in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keven Keen saved Tangent from getting behind. Abe Waldron in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mitchel Whitten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Nathanial Auger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathanial Auger in the 31st minute of play forced Tangent's goalkeeper Keven Keen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keven Keen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Parsons in the 35th minute of play. Marty Chalifour was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Tangent's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 45 minutes into the match, Tom Parsons notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tangent's Keven Keen. Keven Keen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nathanial Auger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Abe Waldron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Parsons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Keven Keen made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Mossbank's Nathanial Auger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keven Keen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Tangent's goalkeeper Keven Keen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Parsons. Nathanial Auger struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Keven Keen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mossbank. 69 minutes into the game, Marty Chalifour cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mitchel Whitten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Brock charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Brock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Brock hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Nathanial Auger lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Keven Keen. In the 78th minute Abe Waldron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitchel Whitten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nathanial Auger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Keven Keen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mossbank supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mossbank would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
