Perdue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yong Fairchild was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garry Trent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Presley in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Gaétan Howard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MacRae and the Perdue players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MacRae getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gaétan Howard hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Rodrick Aldridge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boyd McCracken. Rodrick Aldridge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Garry Trent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yong Fairchild in the 26th minute of the match. Garry Trent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raleigh Leal in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyd McCracken saved Perdue from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Perdue's Yong Fairchild sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garry Trent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrick Aldridge made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, MacRae's goalkeeper Garry Trent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yong Fairchild. Perdue's Boyd McCracken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrick Aldridge in the 55th minute of play. Carol Chauvet kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Olen Faure who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perdue's Boyd McCracken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Olen Faure notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Perdue's Boyd McCracken. Boyd McCracken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boyd McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrick Aldridge in the 69th minute of the match. Boyd McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olen Faure, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Bo Huddleston fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MacRae's protests and gave Bo Huddleston a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MacRae! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Perdue. Keith Acosta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Garry Trent. 2-3. Yong Fairchild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Garry Trent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrick Aldridge in the 84th minute of play forced Perdue's goalkeeper Boyd McCracken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Olen Faure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerardo Moquin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, MacRae's Olen Faure nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyd McCracken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
