Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Mitchel Whitten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odilon Querry in the 2nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mossbank's zone, Stanton Loiseau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitchel Whitten came out of the goal and Stanton Loiseau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Mossbank got a freekick which was hit by Jayson Juarez. In the 13thth minute of the game Sanford Gauthier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mossbank's Mitchel Whitten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Sanford Gauthier made a precise shot to the right of Mitchel Whitten. Mossbank's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Shelton Ménard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Auger, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sanford Gauthier put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mitchel Whitten. Stanton Loiseau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Shawenegan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathanial Auger came free, but Shelton Ménard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sanford Gauthier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Odilon Querry's late challenge caught a Mossbank's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odilon Querry helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mossbank booed when Shawenegan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odilon Querry didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shawenegan FC! Odilon Querry was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Odilon Querry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Stanton Loiseau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shawenegan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanton Loiseau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitchel Whitten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanton Loiseau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitchel Whitten having to interfere. Mitchel Whitten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanton Loiseau in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Parsons in the 74th minute of play forced Shawenegan FC's goalkeeper Shelton Ménard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mossbank's Jayson Juarez got a free kick in the 75th minute. Stanton Loiseau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Mitchel Whitten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mossbank's zone, Shawn Ruel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitchel Whitten came out of the goal and Shawn Ruel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Mossbank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Yates to maneuver through the defense. Shawenegan FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
