The supporters of Premier FC booed when Perdue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Daniels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rory Trejo, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Perdue's Boyd McCracken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Laux in the 14th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Chris Presley made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Premier FC's Boyd Thorne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Royer during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute Yong Fairchild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Thorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, Alain Laux fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Boyd McCracken having to interfere. Yong Fairchild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Thorne having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Premier FC's zone, Yong Fairchild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyd Thorne came out of the goal and Yong Fairchild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Chris Presley came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Perdue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Presley couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Perdue's zone, Robbie Buckley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyd McCracken came out of the goal and Robbie Buckley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Laux got free with Boyd McCracken in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Perdue's Boyd McCracken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Perdue from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Valéry Willingham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perdue's supporters rose to their feet, but Valéry Willingham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyd Thorne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 53rd minute, Rolando Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Carmelo Royer got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Premier FC defense, Carol Chauvet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyd Thorne. The Premier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyd Thorne should have stopped the shot. Boyd McCracken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Laux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyd McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Laux, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Carol Chauvet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perdue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Premier FC the free kick. A collision led to Perdue getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Carol Chauvet hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Laux in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyd McCracken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boyd McCracken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alain Laux's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Boyd McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Laux, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Robbie Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd McCracken having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Perdue got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Harden. 80 minutes into the match, Xavier Ellis notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Perdue's Boyd McCracken. Boyd McCracken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boyd Thorne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Presley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyd Thorne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Presley in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Alain Laux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boyd Thorne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yong Fairchild in the 94th minute.
