Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Sol Pelland charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sol Pelland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, one of Bryson AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bryson AFC. Garry Heard scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chi Barnhart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lyman Brochu might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donte Darling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lyman Brochu ran back to his position shaking his head. Donte Darling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chase Wilkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristopher Roman in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chi Barnhart, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonas Blackman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Chi Barnhart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Bryson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyman Brochu to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Lyman Brochu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scotty Veilleux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Chase Wilkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donte Darling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristopher Roman got free with Chi Barnhart in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scotty Veilleux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donte Darling having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 46th minute when Scotty Veilleux elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 minutes, Tom Swift mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thornhill and the Bryson AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bryson AFC booed when Thornhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Swift didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chase Wilkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Donte Darling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauren Hoover kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Donte Darling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chase Wilkins in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Kristopher Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornhill's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristopher Roman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chi Barnhart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kristopher Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyman Brochu was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 82nd match minute, Bryson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyman Brochu to maneuver through the defense. Kristopher Roman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristopher Roman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
