Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Millard Nickerson got the match started through his kick off. When Garry Heard fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thornhill's protests and gave Garry Heard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Garry Heard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chester Farrar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Millard Nickerson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Tannin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millard Nickerson couldn't finish the play. Donte Darling came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Tannin AFC's Chester Farrar. But to his dismay, Chester Farrar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute Millard Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donte Darling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Blackman in the 23rd minute of play forced Tannin AFC's goalkeeper Sammy Coley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristopher Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Coley having to interfere. Sammy Coley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Blackman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thornhill's Donte Darling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chester Farrar in the 34th minute of play. When Chester Farrar came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Tannin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chester Farrar couldn't finish the play. Jonas Blackman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kristopher Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornhill's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristopher Roman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy Coley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tannin AFC's Sammy Coley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Tannin AFC from getting a goal against them. Chester Farrar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Blackman made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Kristopher Roman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thornhill and the Tannin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristopher Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Thornhill's goalkeeper Donte Darling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chester Farrar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradly Hewitt during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bradly Hewitt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, Tannin AFC's Chester Farrar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donte Darling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chester Farrar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donte Darling having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Chester Farrar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tannin AFC and the Thornhill players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chester Farrar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thornhill's Donte Darling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Millard Nickerson in the 81st minute of play. If Jonas Blackman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tannin AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
