But to his dismay, Ray Starkey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Reynaldo Staley in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Negron, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Palmer Gross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Routhierville FC's goalkeeper Rosario Hinds, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palmer Gross in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosario Hinds saved Routhierville FC from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Youngstown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Labrosse came free, but Juan Negron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Michale Turner fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Routhierville FC's protests and gave Michale Turner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Routhierville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michale Turner to maneuver through the defense. Rosario Hinds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Starkey in the 46th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Ray Starkey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Routhierville FC's Rosario Hinds was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosario Hinds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray Starkey, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Palmer Gross got free with Rosario Hinds in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hubert Labrosse came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Routhierville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Labrosse couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Labrosse in the 94th minute of play forced Youngstown AFC's goalkeeper Juan Negron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Routhierville FC's Hubert Labrosse got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Youngstown AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
