Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Federico Fischer kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Matador's Warren Reece got control of the ball when Prince Laliberté tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Fischer in the 4th minute of play forced Matador's goalkeeper Warren Reece to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murray Cuevas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murray Cuevas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Warren Reece made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Prince Laliberté sent off a good shot on target. Leslie Serrano made a great header on Carp AFC's corner, it was just that Matador's Warren Reece managed to reach the ball for a save. Loren Deschamps kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Prince Laliberté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Reece having to interfere. Warren Reece made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Prince Laliberté sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Federico Fischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Reece saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Eli Ingram ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Rhodes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Fischer in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Warren Reece prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eli Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prince Laliberté's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Warren Reece skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, Carp AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Darden came free, but Edgardo Rhodes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Federico Fischer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Warren Reece, 1-1. In the 43rd minute Federico Fischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Reece saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matador's goalkeeper Warren Reece, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eli Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Rhodes having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Darden made a kick off. Edgardo Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Ingram in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Houston Keene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carp AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matador the free kick. Houston Keene hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Edgardo Rhodes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Darden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Federico Fischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matador's Warren Reece played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Fischer in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Prince Laliberté notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Matador's Warren Reece. Warren Reece was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eli Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Darden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Rhodes having to interfere. Edgardo Rhodes made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Eli Ingram sent off a good shot on target. Matador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
