Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tyson Mott took the kick off in the first half of the match. Buford Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Vaughn having to interfere. Howick FC's Walter Vaughn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Howick FC from getting a goal against them. Clément Blair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Walter Vaughn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Clément Blair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Vaughn. Howick FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clément Blair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Tyson Mott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Carter Berthelette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Howick FC and the Boswell AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carter Berthelette kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Boswell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gus Webber. In the 26th minute of the match Jarred Turgeon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Cruz skillfully saved the ball. Paul Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyson Mott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Walter Vaughn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute of the match Boswell AFC got a corner. Howick FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bryon Storey ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bryon Storey made a great header on Boswell AFC's corner, it was just that Howick FC's Walter Vaughn managed to reach the ball for a save. Paul Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Barrett in the 37th minute of play. Henry Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Paul Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Henry Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Boswell AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Howick FC:s goal. The referee gave Howick FC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jarred Turgeon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boswell AFC's Paul Cruz. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Buford Williamson to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Boswell AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tyson Mott came free, but Paul Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyson Mott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Cruz having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Clément Blair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Vaughn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buford Williamson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lionel Saunders hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Howick FC's Jarred Turgeon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boswell AFC. After having played for 74 minutes, Tyson Mott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyson Mott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buford Williamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Cruz having to interfere. Howick FC's Walter Vaughn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Saunders in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Henry Barrett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Howick FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Tyson Mott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. After 98 played minutes, Howick FC's Jarred Turgeon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Cruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Howick FC reached it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Howick FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
