Paul Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levi Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Grubb in the 16th minute of the match. Buford Williamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Herb Marois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oliver's supporters rose to their feet, but Herb Marois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Levi Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herb Marois kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oliver's goalkeeper Donnie Wynn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Régis Dodge got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Régis Dodge hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oliver's goalkeeper Donnie Wynn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levi Grubb in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Oliver's goal looked a bit too open when Buford Williamson came free, but Donnie Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Buford Williamson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boswell AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clément Blair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buford Williamson might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donnie Wynn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Buford Williamson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
